Custom Machines 

Crafty Tech solutions are often an elegant piece of mechanics using subtle control algorithms underpinned by scary maths! 

For example a piece of machinery was required for processing brussel sprouts, and needed a bulk re-orientation section to turn the stalks uppermost. 

Vision directed software working on underpinning quaternion maths was used to calculate multiple sequenced rotations  (as used to re-orientate the Lunar landing module) to control a delightfully simple and highly parallel manipulator mechanism which rapidly re-orientated individual sprouts.
